The Texas KOP
2019 Trip to Clark Atlanta University & Fort Valley State University - Georgia
The Texas KOP chartered three (3) buses and transported youth from Houston, Dallas, and Killeen areas to Georgia. The Youth visited:

In 2005 the Texas KOP program issued a letter that set a goal which outlined its project to visit every four (4) year historical black college and university in the State of Texas. At that time the Texas KOP had already visited Paul Quinn College (Dallas) in 2001. In 2005 the Texas KOP had made plans to visit Prairie View A&M University (Prairie View). As of July 2018 the KOP has held their youth leadership conferences at seven (7) of the eight (8) four year HBCU's in Texas. In 2019 the Texas KOP traveled to Georgia for their 2019 Young Men's Empowerment (Y-Me) Leadership Conference. The conference was hosted at Fort Valley State University (HBCU) and they visited Clark Atlanta University (HBCU) in Atlanta. The conference was a partnership with other state KOP programs (NY, VA, GA, and DC).
